NSCP offers a variety of different training for both professionals and people in the community who are working with children. If you are a professional looking for in depth training then please use the information and booking forms below. Multi Agency Training 2020-21
Norfolk Safeguarding Children Partnership has commissioned InTrac Training and Consultancy to deliver the specialist training courses this year, from Levels 3 to 8 (Working Together 2018). If you are unsure which group and level you fall under, please refer to the NSCP Training Strategy document at the bottom of this page.
All our courses are Level 3.
How do I book training?
For individual places on our courses please click the link below to access our on-line booking system.
All available courses can be found by clicking on the link to the online training booking system below.
- Please ensure you complete all required fields. An authorisation email will be sent to your manager, so please ensure you type their email address correctly. Until your manager has authorised the application, it will not be considered for short listing, which will take place 6 weeks before the course is due to run.

Please note: We are aware that some people experience problems when trying to book online when they use Internet Explorer so we would suggest using Google Chrome instead.
Schools Applicants Only
To book onto multi-agency training specifically for those staff working at Tier 3 including school and college Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) please click onto the schools online training booking system link below. DSL colleagues from schools and colleges must make their bookings through this system. For further advice please see https://www.schools.norfolk.gov.uk/pupil-safety-and-behaviour/safeguarding.
Other training events/workshops which can be accessed by school staff who are not necessarily DSLs or working at Tier 3 (only those courses prefixed with *) can be booked via the NSCP online training booking system.

All cancellations and non-attendance, regardless of the circumstances, which are made within seven working days of the start of the course will incur a cancellation fee of £50 per person for whole day courses. From September, full day courses will incur a £50 cancellation fee and half-day briefings/events and workshops will incur a £25 cancellation fee. The cancellation policy for school staff is however slightly different, so please refer to their website for details.
If you are unable to attend the training you must contact us in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel your place.
Voluntary & Community Sector Groups Charges
The charging policy for individuals from all voluntary and community sector groups is:
- Safer Programme Members – £40 per person, per day
- Non Safer Programme Members (regardless of annual income) – £50 per person, per day

Children’s Centre Charges
The NSCP must implement a charging policy for those Centres whose provider does not contribute to the NSCP.
- Voluntary and Community Sector – charges as in above policy
- Norfolk Community Health & Care – Free
- Schools – £100 per person per day
Private, Independent and Profit Making Organisations (including Children’s Services Agency Staff) Charges
- £100 per person per day
