Norwich Connect offer a variety of practical training courses designed to give professionals skills and knowledge to improve their practice when working with clients affected by domestic abuse.

In this update, find out about:

• SafeLives Spotlight on parenting through domestic abuse

They are now holding their Trauma Informed Practices and Creating a Culture of Engagement courses in Dereham, Wymondham and Kings Lynn. They still have availability in some of their Norwich courses. A list of all available dates and locations are below:

The DASH risk assessment training is being delivered by SafeLives, who helped pioneer the development of the tool. This training will help you identify cases of domestic abuse, provide you with a common tool to create a shared understanding of risk with other services and increase your confidence in supporting clients impacted by domestic abuse.

SafeLives have released their latest Spotlight which is focused on the experiences of parents who face additional barriers to accessing support, or can feel ‘hidden’ from services. There are some useful blogs, webinars and podcasts for professionals who want to increase their knowledge in this area.
